Upcoming High Holidays

• Rosh Hashanah: Rosh Hashana marks the commencement of the Jewish New Year, falling between Labor Day and Columbus Day and extending for either one or two days, depending on the particular branch of Judaism observed. While Rosh Hashana is characterized by joy and celebration, it carries a more solemn tone compared to the American New Year festivities. This holiday serves as an opportunity for introspection, to reflect on the past year’s events, and a chance to make resolutions for the year ahead.
• Yom Kippur: Yom Kippur, known as the Jewish Day of Atonement, is a solemn occasion dedicated to fasting and repentance, aiming to mend our relationship with the Creator by seeking forgiveness for the errors committed in the preceding year. 

Ann Katz Festival

Join us in commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Ann Katz Festival of Books & Arts at the JCC! This remarkable three-week festival showcases renowned authors, acclaimed films, and talented local visual and performing artists. To mark this special milestone, our festival begins with a captivating dialogue between a former neo-Nazi and a second-generation Holocaust survivor, followed by an engaging evening in the company of Chasten Buttigieg, an LGBTQ+ activist and the spouse of U.S. Secretary of Transportation, Pete Buttigieg. Fall Break

Our Fall Break programs offer a perfect blend of fun and learning for kindergarten through 5th-grade kids.
