Welcome to CampJCC!
“Campers Come First” is our motto at CampJCC Indy. We build every aspect of our programming and staffing around this sentiment. Our seasonal summer staff is made of up of close to 50% returning counselors, so campers and families are sure to see familiar and friendly faces year after year. Campers swim daily at our Eskenazi Water Park and the rest of the day’s schedule is jam-packed with activities that engage their bodies and minds. Our camp-wide traditions, like the Leon Mordoh Lip Sync and Yom Sport, are experiences that campers look forward to generation after generation!

Day Camp Age Groups
Check the age group of your camper for information about what each camp entails.
Please note: JCC Members pay a lower member rate.
Activities are varied by age group, with aspirational activities so that our campers learn and grow over the summer, but there are some tried and true activities that all our campers experience:
- Daily swimming in our Eskenazi Water Park
- Music and dance, including choreographing a unique number with their camp group for our world-famous Leon Mordoh Lip Sync! A camp-wide tradition that everyone will love.
- Art activities indoors and outdoors
- Sports. Lots and lots of sports and our camp-wide “Yom Sport” competition at the end of summer
- Nature adventures in our wooded acreage
- Wacky Wednesdays
- Hot Dog cookouts on Fridays (lunch provided)
Grades K-1 | Masada
Masada is a plateau in the Negev Desert in Israel, and today, Masada stands as a symbol of strength and determination based on a legend of Jewish fortitude atop Masada in the face of a Roman siege.
Camp Masada is the best way to experience new adventures, make new friends, and spend the summer just being a kid! Activities for this age group include building friendships through games, nature and science studies, sports, music, drama, swimming, arts and crafts, and much more! There will be special theme days and all-theme events.
Grades 2-5 | Tikvah
Tikvah is Hebrew for hope. At the JCC, we share the hope for all children and all members of our community — health, equality, and joy in life. Tikvah campers are grouped by gender and will enjoy a jam-packed schedule of fun and engaging activities.
Grades 6-7 | Gesher
Gesher is Hebrew for bridge. We aim to help Gesher campers cross bridges to greater independence and self-esteem. At this age, campers are gaining autonomy and responsibility.
