InBody Scale at the JCC Indianapolis

The JCC Indianapolis‘ InBody Scale measures body composition through bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA). The BIA method sends a small alternating current through the body that allows for highly accurate measurements of a person’s body fat as well as water, lean mass, overall weight, and more.

      What to Expect from an InBody Scale Reading

      The InBody Scale is located in the Mordoh Fitness Center (walk a little ways in when you get to the Fitness Desk and it will be on your right).

      Current participants in JCC personal training, Pilates reformer and private yoga may use the scale for FREE with their instructor; otherwise it is $25/$20 JCC Members per use.

      Daxko Login Tips:

      • Use the email address or phone number associated with your JCC membership account

      Before your reading:

      • DO maintain your normal fluid intake the day before
      • DO stand upright for at least 5 minutes
      • DO remove any socks or pantyhose
      • DO remove all heavy accessories like jewelry, watches, and jackets
      • DO warm yourself up for 20 minutes in cold weather
      • DO use the restroom
      • DON’T eat or exercise for at least 3 hours
      • DON’T consume alcohol or excess caffeine for at least 24 hours 
      • DON’T shower or use a sauna
      • DON’T use lotion or ointment on your hands and feet

      InBody Scale results are provided via the InBody app. 

      • Download the InBody app from your device’s app store
      • Create a free account associated with your phone number (this is how the device will deliver your results)
      • Complete your InBody scan, following the instructions on the machine
      • Review your results and start using your data to your advantage on your own device!
