What is SilverSneakers?
SilverSneakers is a set of fitness classes designed and managed by HealthCare Dimensions (HCD), a leading nationwide provider in preventive programming for Medicare Advantage, Managed Care and Medicare Supplemental organizations. Specialized SilverSneakers classes focus on improving strength, flexibility, balance and coordination and are taught by certified instructors. Classes make use of hand weights, elastic tubing, stability balls and a chair for seated or standing support.

This class incorporates athletic exercises that boost your overall fitness. Move through muscle-conditioning blocks and activity-specific drills to improve strength and functional skill.
Focuses on short cardio segments and muscular strength using weights, bands and balls. A chair will be used for stretching and cool-down. Participants must be able to stand for 35 minutes
Utilizes a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated or standing support.
Move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation promote stress reduction and mental clarity. Chair support is offered.
Suitable for those who want to avoid stress on joints; appropriate during pregnancy.
A strength-training class using hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball for resistance and a chair for seated or standing support. Participants must be able to stand for 35 minutes. Varies from low- to high-intensity.
