The 24th annual Ann Katz Festival of Books & Arts presented by Herbert Simon Family Foundation is a three-week festival featuring well-known authors, award-winning films and local visual and performing artists. For a full list of events, visit JCCindy.org/events.

How do you define yourself? We are investigating that important question as world-renowned artist Siona Benjamin, an Indian Jewish artist who grew up with Muslims and Hindus, attending Catholic and Zoroastrian schools, presents with the history-making Rabbi Sandy Sasso, the first woman to serve as a congregational rabbi and part of the first wife/husband rabbi team. Siona and Sandy will speak about the sacred responsibility of holy storytelling and teach the audience how they can create sacred stories for themselves.

Sponsored by Congregation Beth-El Zedeck

This is a Spirit & Place program. Following the program, enjoy a reception featuring Indian Jewish food!
