Summer Camps/Clinics

Help your child build skills in the sport they like best with a JCC sports camp/clinic. Children receive personal attention from experienced instructors, who focus on skill development, teamwork, creativity and fun! All sports camps make use of the JCC’s indoor and outdoor facilities.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, capacity may be limited. To allow for additional cleaning, extended care will not be provided.

Equestrian Camp/Clinic  |  Grades 3-8

Open to all. JCC Member rate available.

Week 7 (July 13-17)  |  9 am-4 pm

Campers head to Natural Valley Ranch in Brownsburg, IN, to learn all aspects of horsemanship, including grooming, tacking, mounting/dismounting, proper safety gear and safety precautions as well as riding technique. Each camper will have 2-3 hours of hands-on experience with their own horse in addition to plenty of riding time. Closed-toe shoes and long pants required.

Golf Camp/Clinic

Golf Camp/Clinic  |  Grades 3-8

Open to all. JCC Member rate available.

Week 6 (July 6-10)  |  9 am-4 pm

Golf pros at the Golf Club of Indiana in Zionsville will give specific instructions to campers to help improve golf fundamentals, putting and chipping. Campers will also participate in contests and tournaments. Campers may bring their own golf clubs. If not, golf clubs will be provided.

Indy Eleven Soccer Camp/Clinic

Indy Eleven Soccer Camp/Clinic  |  Grades 3-8

Open to all. 

Week 7 (July 13-17)  |  9 am-4 pm

Campers can improve their soccer skills at the JCC this summer with Indy Eleven, focusing on fundamental skills, strategy and lots of play. Campers will also work on individual and team skill development to become better players.

Post-camp Week 1 (July 27-31)  |  9 am-4 pm

Campers will have fun learning this new paddle sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis, taught by experienced instructors. Campers will enjoy learning basic pickleball skills at the JCC while incorporating sportsmanship and competitions.

Join us on the courts at JCC Tennis Camp for a summer full of fun and games where you can improve your tennis game and learn the importance of sportsmanship. We’ll participate in other sports to further improve strength, endurance and agility. The JCC tennis program is tailored to meet each player’s needs with drills, skill development, demonstrations and repetition.

Camp runs 9 am-4 pm. Campers should bring a tennis racquet, non-marking tennis shoes, bathing suit, towel, extra shirt, sun block, water bottle, snacks and lunch.

Volleyball Camp/Clinic

Volleyball Camp/Clinic  |  Grades 3-5

Open to all. JCC Member rate available.

Week 6 (July 6-10)  |  9 am-4 pm

Campers will learn and develop skills in the sport of volleyball at the JCC. Our coaches will focus on teaching the basics of the games such as serving, volleyball skill-setting, passing and games, introducing the sport of volleyball while teaching sportsmanship on and off the court.

Indy Eleven Futsal

Ages 4-6 (Rookie Division), 7-11 (USL Division). Play soccer year-round! Increase soccer skills, improve decision-making and get more touches on the ball.

Junior Pacers Basketball League

Grades K-5. Games on Sunday. Each team practices once during the week. Practice determined by coach(es).

Gymnastics

Ages 3 & up. The JCC’s gymnastics program teaches coordination, balance, grace and confidence through techniques in floor exercise, balance beam, vaulting, still rings and tumbling. Provided by Indy Stars Gymnastics Curriculum.

  • Attire for girls: leotards, hair pulled back, no bows or jewelry
  • Attire for boys: shirt and shorts, no jewelry.

No gum, food or candy is allowed in the gyms.

Martial Arts

Tae Kwon Do & Hapkido

Ages 7-Adult. We’ve combined these two ancient Korean disciplines of combat and self-defense with sport and exercise. Tae Kwon Do, or the “way of the foot and the hand,” and Hapkido, or the “way of harmony,” emphasize good health, happiness, generosity, independence and coexistence.

Instructed by Master Jean-Pierre Decaudin

Promotion test given every 3 months (Tae Kwon Do only). Students must participate in the Tae Kwon Do class to take Hapkido.

Karate for Kids

Ages 4-13. Self-defense, coordination and focus. A system of self-development using kicks and punches. Its quick, sharp actions involve snapping movements of the joints, which means that kids need to warm up carefully.

Tiny Tots

Ages 3-4. For our youngest athletes. We play various sports and games, concentrating on improving hand-eye coordination, motor skills and team-building.

Allen Katner Youth Soccer

Co-ed micro-soccer leagues play on smaller fields and have four players per team on the field at any one time. Focus is on skill development, fair play and fun.

Weekly practice day/time determined by volunteer coaches.

Intro to Micro-Soccer

Ages 3-4. Introducing pre-K athletes to soccer. Parent involvement is strongly encouraged. 10 minutes working on individual touch followed by 20 minute games. Max 18 participants.

KinderSoccer

Ages 3-10. Enroll your budding tennis star in our expanded classes for youth. We are a USTA-registered 10-and-under tennis facility, offering programs for children as young as three, utilizing racquets, balls and courts designed for our youngest players.

Enroll your young ones in youth yoga at the J! Help your child improve flexibility, movement, and connect with the earth. Yoga is also a great way to get a workout and reduce stress!
