Learning to meditate can help to calm the mind and encounter life circumstances with greater confidence. Meditation can connect us with our overall wellness by harmonizing mind and body, working with our anxiety and building resilience. Many faith and philosophical traditions include various meditation and prayer practices and while Mindfulness meditation is rooted in the Buddhist tradition, here it is presented as a secular practice.
This program is taught by Marguerite Stanciu, Assistant Director of the Center for Faith and Vocation at Butler University. Marguerite is a practitioner and teacher in the Mindfulness tradition welcoming and supporting anyone who wants to learn about and to practice meditation.
