Spring Has Sprung At the JCC

Spring flowers, warmer weather, new sports, and school breaks are in the air at the JCC Indianapolis. We have so many events and family fun coming up and we can’t wait to share them with you! There is truly something for everyone in our neighborhood and community resource center.

Programs and Events

Check out the following events we have scheduled for the end of March and the beginning of April. For a full list, be sure to visit our Events page on our website.

  • Jews of the Wild West Film and Screening + Q&A with the Filmmaker- Join us as we view Jews of the Wild West, an award-winning documentary, in collaboration with the JCC Indianapolis. Hear from historians, rabbis, and the children of those featured in the documentary about the contributions that Jews have made to the American West. 
  • JCC Book Club Inaugural Meeting- A book club is starting at the JCC Indianapolis! Come learn about the group’s plans and get to know other readers.
  • Yom Ha’atzmaut Celebration with 65th Street Klezmorim- Celebrate Israeli Independence Day- Yom Ha’atzmaut with a free concert by Indy’s own 65th Street Klezmorim.

Spring Sports

Registration for youth spring sports is also coming up at the JCC Indianapolis with a variety of options. We think that youth involvement in sports and recreation offers possibilities for enrichment that are loving, instructive, and enjoyable while fostering friendships for life. Not only that, but we also offer sports for adults who want to make new friends and compete in low-pressure recreation leagues.

Spring Break

The After School Care Program at the JCC Indianapolis is a safe and nurturing program for school-aged kids and is open for Spring Break. Located in the Kraft Youth Wing of the building, we offer programs focused on academic, recreational, and creative activities. If you visit our Events page, you’ll find our School’s Out Days listed with a theme for each day! This program is available for kids in grades K-5 and takes place from 8 am to 6 pm.
