Our new BBYO City Director

Please join us in welcoming Ariel Movshovich to the JCC as our new BBYO City Director.

She recently moved to Indy with her fiancé after living in Israel for five years. She holds a double major in Business Administration and Jewish Studies from Emory University, and a master’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Ariel has leadership, volunteer and professional experience ranging from athletic and political college organizations, to working on cross-functional projects in multiple Israeli industries.

Among her accomplishments, Ariel spearheaded the Emory University Goizueta Business School study abroad program in Israel and she is a recipient of the Schusterman Israel Scholars Award. Ariel is very excited to join the Indianapolis Jewish community and work with our teens to create meaningful and inspiring Jewish experiences!

As a reminder – BBYO (B’nai B’rith Youth Organization) is the JCC’s teen program for Jewish high school students (with some middle school programming). This group promotes Jewish identity, social interaction and character development through Jewish morals and ideals. bbyoWith 18,000 members and over 80 years of experience, BBYO is the largest organization for Jewish youth ages 14–18. BBYO even has a new online community where you can connect with more than 3,800 other Jewish teens from all over the world. The Indy group meets monthly to spend time together and create programs. Ariel will mostly be around the JCC in the evenings and weekends. Welcome, Ariel!!
