December Happenings at the JCC

December and January are great times to check out the JCC Indianapolis. As we head into winter break and school is out, there are still events and classes to take advantage of in addition to the Festival of Lights. Celebrate Chanukah, then get a jump start on your New Year’s resolutions and new habits by joining some fitness classes in December.

STEM Make and Take

We offer a free hands-on STEM make-and-take workshop for toddlers, preschoolers, and school agers. It is geared for children from two to eight years but is open to anyone of all ages. The event will be held on December 15, 2022, at 4 pm in the J Cafe.

Winter Break

This is a friendly reminder that Winter break will take place from December 23, 2022, through January 9, 2023.

Cycle Class

On January 2, 2023, we are starting the year off with a special cycling class with Laurel. All fitness levels are welcome and you won’t want to miss this party. There are only fifteen spots available, so be sure you sign up today at the fitness desk.

New Year New Goals

It is a great time to check out the wide array of classes and fitness opportunities at the JCC Indianapolis. For adults, we offer swimming lessons, pilates reformer, aerobic dance, reiki, yoga, cycling, personal training, and more. Trying something new is a great way to engage your mind and stick to healthy habits. For children, we offer swimming, dance, sports classes and education classes, and day camps.

Much More

In addition to fitness classes and workshops, we offer many arts and cultural events throughout the year. The JCC Indianapolis has been an Indianapolis staple for more than 100 years and welcomes people of all backgrounds, faiths, and generations.
