January at JCC Indianapolis: New Year, New Energy

New year, new routines—and a perfect time to build momentum you can actually keep. At JCC Indianapolis, the first few weeks of the year bring a mix of wellness, community, and events that make showing up feel easy (and fun).

Start With Art

Make space for inspiration at the JCC Indianapolis Gallery Opening: Erin Patton-McFarren’s “Um Passo a Frente” on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 5:30 PM. Come for the opening, stay for the conversations, and enjoy a midweek reset.

Add Live Music

On Sunday, January 25, 2026, at 4:00 PM, settle in for Ronen Chamber Ensemble: “Brilliant Winds” in the Laikin Auditorium. It’s the kind of winter afternoon plan that feels special—but still comfortably local.

Keep Your Workout Promise

If your 2026 goal is consistency (not perfection), try one of our new adult fitness and wellness offerings:

  • Triathlon Training Program: Get race-ready in six weeks with swim, bike, and run training plus nutrition guidance from dietitian Katherine Matutes

  • JFit Rush Hour: Drop in for open gym time or the Trainer Workout of the Week—no registration needed

  • Muscle Hustle: Full-body strength with weights, bodyweight moves, and circuits

  • Bootcamp: High-intensity strength + cardio + functional training

  • Strength Xpress: A focused 45-minute strength and endurance class

  • Strength & Flow Vinyasa Yoga: Build strength and flexibility through mindful flow

  • Barre: Low-impact, ballet-inspired toning for core, legs, and arms

  • Surge: A fast-paced HIIT class that blends power, strength, and cardio

Set a February Goal

Ready for a winter challenge that’s motivating and surprisingly social? The Indoor Winter Blast Triathlon is fully indoors and open to a wide range of fitness levels. Complete each leg at your own pace using our pools and fitness center—train for one event or take on all three.
