The Ann Katz Festival of Books & Arts: Celebrate Literature and Culture
One of the highlights of the fall season is the annual Ann Katz Festival of Books & Arts, which begins October 21st and extends through November 12th. This festival showcases an impressive lineup of authors, artists, and performers, bringing some of the best literature and cultural learning to Indianapolis. From discussions with acclaimed authors to film screenings and art exhibitions, the festival promises a rich cultural experience. Fun and Learning for Kids: School’s Day Out and Night Awat at the J
Looking for ways to keep your kids engaged while away from school? School’s Out Days and Night Away at the J are the perfect solutions! With School’s Out Days, children enjoy fun-filled activities in a safe, nurturing environment while school is out of session. Whether exploring arts and crafts, playing sports, or making new friends, the day is exciting for all school-age children. School-age children can also enjoy games, movies, and peer bonding at the upcoming Night Away at the J: Pumpkins and Painting on Saturday, October 26th, while parents/guardians take a well-deserved evening off. Register for Night Away at the J: Bonfire Night on Saturday, November 16th, when participants will sit fireside during an evening bonfire.
Youth Sports and Dance Programs: Active Fun for All Ages
Fall is also the perfect time to enroll your children in our popular youth sports programs. From tennis to swimming, we offer a range of levels that focus on skill development, teamwork, and fun. For those who love martial arts, registration for winter Tae Kwon Do/Hapkido sessions opens on October 16th. Our programs are designed to support your child’s growth on and off the field, helping them build confidence, discipline, and lasting friendships.
