The JCC Indianapolis, through Ripple Mobile Arts, offers a youth pottery class that may be of special interest to those looking to enhance their artistic endeavours.
Pottery class provided by Ripple Mobile Arts for ages 6-12
With instruction from Jeremy South of Ripple Mobile Arts, pottery students sculpt, paint and design amazing clay projects from scratch, on and off the pottery wheel. Students add their own creative touches to each month’s theme.
About Ripple Mobile Arts
Ripple Mobile Arts founder Jeremy South is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with a degree in Art Studio. His development in clay has led me to give presentations, classes, and workshops. He have been working in the field of clay for over 20 years. Recently he has ventured into glass and other mediums. His mission statement is summed up into two words. “Encourage Creativity.” His commitment to personal attention and simplified instruction has made the classes enjoyable for all ages. He truly believes that many of us learn more directly through our hands. Our hands shape the world around us. We can either build or destroy. His hope is for all of us to find a constructive way to use our hands.
