Are you ready for summer break? We sure are! The end of school is right around the corner and there is plenty to enjoy to during the summer months at the JCC Indianapolis. We’re rolling out new programs and events, celebrating the Jewish holiday, Shavuot, as well as looking forward to the opening of our water park! Read on to see what we have planned this summer.

A great way to have new experiences, meet new people, and spend the summer just being a kid is at JCC Indianapolis' day camps! Pre Camp starts after Memorial Day and is available through the summer months from 8 am to 5 pm. Campers will participate in a combination of day camp activities geared toward their age group.
The JCC Indianapolis offers an outdoor water park with something for everyone at the Sid and Lois Eskenazi Water Park. The water park opens around Memorial Day and has a competition-sized swimming pool for lap swimmers and those looking to plunge into the deep end, a kiddie pool and splash pad for babies and toddlers, pool slides for kids and kids at heart, and a lazy river!
Shavuot celebrates the passing down of the Torah from Mount Sinai. It occurs between Memorial Day and Independence Day and lasts for one or two days, depending on the branch. Like Sukkot, this holiday is every bit as important as Passover, Rosh Hashanah, and Yom Kippur.
Come join us in all the summer fun at the JCC Indianapolis. For more information on the programs and events available, contact us at (317) 251-9467 or visit our website.
