Children enrolled in the ECE Pre-kindergarten classrooms had an opportunity to show off a year’s worth of art projects with their 2017 Daled & Gimmel Art Show and Fundraiser, complete with an interactive gallery made up of cereal boxes.
Kids set the value for their works of art; prices ranged from a penny for a vibrant-colored coffee filter to $764 million for a self-portrait done in the style of Andy Warhol. Other projects included clay masks and trolls, sand art, fabric art, Chihuly-like window catchers made from recycled plastic, and still life drawings. These hands-on projects helped the children to learn about art, artists and creativity.
All proceeds raised helped support the end of the school year pre-kindergarten family programs hosted by the children.
