Summer Camps

Summer Fun and Celebrations at JCC Indy

The JCC Indianapolis is gearing up for an exhilarating lineup of events and celebrations to kick off the summer season in style. From family-friendly activities to community gatherings, there’s something for everyone to enjoy during the last weeks of May and the first weeks of June.

Jewish Holidays

The staff and administration of the JCC Indianapolis hope everyone within the community had pleasant celebrations for Yom Ha-Zikaron, remembering the fallen soldiers who perished in the fight for Israel’s independence, and Yom Haatzma’ut, Israel’s Independence Day.

Over the next several weeks, many important holidays will occur in the Jewish community and beyond. Much like Yom Ha-Zikaron, we celebrate those who fought for America’s freedom on Memorial Day. From Tuesday, June 4th, until the evening of Wednesday, June 5th, members of the Jewish community will observe Yom Yerushalayim, or Jerusalem Day, commemorating the reunification of Jerusalem in Israeli hands during the 1967 War. Equally important, Shavout, or Festival of Weeks, is June 11th through June 13th, during which Jewish community members celebrate the Torah's giving at Mount Sinai.

Programs and Events for All Ages

From stimulating day camps to lively community events, there's no shortage of excitement at the JCC Indianapolis. Whether you're a seasoned member or new to the JCC Indianapolis community, these events offer a fantastic opportunity to connect with others and explore new interests.
