Celebrate the High Holidays & Fall Sports at JCC Indianapolis

With the school year underway and the arrival of fall, JCC Indianapolis invites members—and those considering membership—to enjoy a season full of community, celebration, and activity. From meaningful holiday observances to youth sports and lessons, the lineup of JCC Indianapolis fall programs this September and early October offers something for everyone.

Jewish High Holidays at JCC Indianapolis

The Jewish High Holidays are a special time of reflection, celebration, and renewal.

Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, begins at sundown on Monday, September 22, 2025, and concludes after nightfall on Wednesday, September 24. This festive holiday balances joy with reflection, encouraging us to look back on the past year while preparing for a meaningful year ahead.

Following Rosh Hashanah is Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. Yom Kippur is observed from sunset on Wednesday, October 1, to nightfall on Thursday, October 2. It is a solemn day of atonement, fasting, and prayer, calling for personal reflection and reconciliation.

Fall Youth Sports & Lessons

Fall is the perfect time to keep kids active, build skills, and have fun. Our fall programs include a wide range of youth sports designed to grow confidence and encourage teamwork.

Youth Swimming Lessons (September–October)

From beginners learning to trust the water to advanced levels focusing on strokes and rotary movement, youth swimming lessons provide options for preschoolers through youth. Classes are offered multiple times weekly, including evenings and weekends, to fit your family’s schedule.

Youth Soccer (September 9–October 26)

For children aged 3–6, our fall youth soccer program introduces them to teamwork and fundamental skills. Sessions are held on Tuesdays and Sundays, with registration required.

Youth & Junior Tennis

With flexible sessions throughout the fall, tennis is available for ages 3 through high school. Whether your child is picking up a racquet for the first time or advancing in competitive play, instructors provide supportive, engaging instruction. Tennis remains one of the most popular JCC Indianapolis fall programs for both youth and teens.

Be Part of the JCC Indianapolis Community
