I’m interested in the JCC, but I’m not Jewish.

There is no requirement that our members be Jewish. In fact, most of our members come from other religious backgrounds. Everyone is welcome.

How much does a membership cost?

There are lots of variables that can affect your monthly rate, e.g., if at least five people from a single company are members, each would get a discount on their membership. Also, many of the classes and programs we offer are available to non-members. Check the JCC Membership Rates page for a starting point, but remember to talk with one of our Desk Staff about your specific needs and interests to determine what your actual rate would be.

What are the hours the facility is open?

Check our page on JCC Hours for the most current hours, including holiday closings.

What do I need to do to get a Silver Sneaker membership?

Silver Sneaker is a benefit of Medicare Supplemental Insurance. To qualify for a membership at the JCC, simply bring in your Silver Sneaker card. Or one of our Desk Staff can try to look you up in the Silver Sneaker system.

Can children participate in group exercise classes if their parents are present?

Yes and no. It depends on the type of class and the age of the child.

For classes like Zumba or classes that don’t involve weights, they should be at least 13 and able to pay attention for the full length of the class and not be disruptive. For cycling they also need to be tall enough to adequately fit the bike.

For classes that involve weights, e.g., BodyPump, we use the same guideline as using free weights—the child needs to be 16.

I want to bring a guest. What are my options?

The JCC sells several guest passes in single or multiple visits. Visit our JCC Membership webpage for those rates.

Where is lost and found?

If you think you’ve lost an item, please check at the East Desk.

What do I do if I need a refund from the vending machine?

Please visit the East Desk to report it.

How do I cancel my membership?

The procedures for cancelling a membership are outlined in your membership contract, e.g., written cancellation is required to cancel a membership under the payment option plan 
and must be received 30 days prior to the first day of the month of desired cancellation date.
